Rev. Jason Caddy
District Superintendent
Rev. Jason Caddy was appointed superintendent of the North Carolina District on February 1, 2025. Jason has been in ministry for over 30 years. He spent 9 years as a youth pastor, and in 2001, he accepted the call as lead pastor at Omaha Central Church. Since then, has pastored in Ferguson, MO, New Philadelphia, OH, Dayton, OH, and Columbia, TN at Grace Church of the Nazarene.
Some of his hobbies include spending time with Jesus, camping, coaching pastors, officiating, golfing, spending time at the beach, and participating in his four kids' activities. He also enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. He and his wife, Tina, have been married for 32 years, they have four young adult children: 2 daughters-in-law, a new grandbaby girl and a cocker spaniel.
Rev. Matt Roberts
Assistant District Superintendent
Rev. Matt Roberts was appointed assistant district superintendent of the North Carolina District on March 1, 2023. Matt has been in ministry for over 30 years, coming to North Carolina in 2006 to pastor the Hillsborough New Heart Church of the Nazarene. Prior to coming to NC, Pastor Matt served churches in Salem, VA, Saratoga Springs, NY and co-pastored a church plant in Leonardtown, MD.
Pastor Matt came to know and love Jesus at 5 years of age and has strived to follow him ever since. He also loves his wife, Joyce, to whom he has been married for over 44 years, his son Jacob and his wife (Wendy) and daughter (Zarea), the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, a good round of golf and some smooth and harmonious southern gospel music.
Rev. Juan Rivas
MultiCultural Director
Pastor Juan, and his wife, Rev. Angela Rivas, are a team that is working together for the sake of the Kingdom of God. They have two daughters whom they are very proud of and continue to live out their faith.
Pastor Juan, with his family, planted the Faison Church in North Carolina in 2003. In 2024, he became the North Carolina District MultiCultural Director, working with churches that speak Spanish, French, and Korean.
In his spare time, Pastor Juan enjoys spending quality time with his family and reading the Bible.
